Follow this checklist to make a technical assurance of your program and become aware of areas that can be improved before you send the invitations.
From the learner's perspective
Add yourself as a learner in your program or enter preview and go through it from the very beginning to the end, make sure to pinpoint this:
- Using videos? Play every video and ensure they work properly
- Read through the text of every assignment and make sure the instructions follow these principles:
- Structure – use a consistent structure to avoid confusion
- Brevity – keep it as short and simple as possible
- Purpose – Give the learners a reason to do it or a promise
- And...Spelling
- Long and massive text? Create a PDF and add a resource instead
- Add images in each assignment
- Check that the information in the sessions are correct
From the admin view
Head into admin view of your program and go through the following under the tabs:
- Correct category
- Correct timezone
- Correct Timeline
- Check the Events:
- Using sessions? Add map and coordinates
- Using virtual sessions? Add information how to access your virtual meeting
- Using coaches? Write coach instructions
- Using team tasks? Create teams and assign every learner
- Using peer review? Connect it to a comment task
- Using Goals? Connect tasks to the goals
- Using Fetch quiz or survey? Connect a questionnaire to the task and set an unique title for the collection
- Using E-learnings? Make sure to connect them in the task
- Using groups? Assign each learner to a group
Now you're all set and ready to send the invitations to your program! Remember to invite yourself if you are a part of the program to make sure you receive notifications.
