How does a team task work
Within the team task, the team members can have a private discussion allowing them to share files and chat. Any posts within the private discussion will generate notifications to the members of the team. The conclusion for the task can be posted by any team member and will result in all members’ completion of the task. The team’s conclusion will be visible in the feed. The teams can be based on the program groups but can also be adjusted. Please note that the teams are decided and managed by an admin in the admin view.

Private discussion within the task
- Similar look and feel as for facilitator and coach approves
- Available to the team members and facilitators
- Not available to coaches
- Can continue even after the task is completed
- Any posts within the private discussion will generate notifications to members of the team (not to the facilitator)
- Posts BY the facilitator will generate notifications to team members
- Allow sharing of files within the team
- Like any other private discussion, Team Task does not support mentions
- A conclusion is public and can be seen by other learners and facilitators
- Any member of the team can post a conclusion
- All members of the team will get completion when the conclusion is posted
- The conclusion can be edited after posting if needed
- The conclusion is visible in the feed on the start page
- A coach can only see a conclusion posted by a team in which they are coaching a learner
- Each team task needs to have teams assigned separately
- Teams do not have to be the same for each team task
- There’s a quick button to use existing program groups for team tasks
- It is possible to move learners between teams even if the task has been started or completed
How to set up a team task
Create Teams
- Create a task with completion type 'Team'
- Then click on the tab Task Teams
- Now you choose how you would like to create your teams:
a) Create teams based on the groups you already have in the program
b) Create teams randomly. Any remaining learners will be put in a separate team, if you wish to adjust the teams you can do this manually by pressing "Edit".
c) You can also create new task teams manually if you would like to create a new task team for this specific task
Replicate teams to other tasks
If you have several Team tasks in a program you can create teams for just one of them and replicate the teams to the rest of the Team tasks in that program (that doesn´t have a team already).
Edit Team names
You can add or remove members in teams that already started working on, but did not yet complete the team task.
Hide others' conclusions
Select this option to hide what other learners' already posted in the Team tasks until the task is completed. With this option enabled, a team must first complete the task before getting access to anyone else's solution.
