We're here to guide you on how to boost your productivity with Promote, so go ahead and read on to learn how to unleash your creativity and build successful programs in Promote.
Start by watching this video to get a basic understanding of how to structure a program. What structure do you want for your program? Visualize it on a whiteboard or paper to get a good overview. Divide your program into three segments:
- before/prepare
- during/train
- after/apply
Now, how should you transform the before, during and after into assignments and sessions in your program that also make sense to the learners? Try to picture the program as a journey where each part is connected - your job is to visualize and guide the learners on this journey.
For example, the goal is that your learners should learn about a specific topic, and you are going to practice this during a workshop so the learners can develop skills that they can use on their job:
- Before: Create an assignment on the topic where the learners can read and reflect so they are ready to practice when you meet at the workshop
- During: Bring the learners' reflections into the classroom and practice
- After: Create an assignment that encourages the learners to use their learning on the job
