If a user on your Promote site contacts you and asks what to do if they need to restore their access you can share these instructions with them.
Instructions
If you get this error message when you try to log in, you have either entered an invalid email address, or username, or password:
Please check that you have entered the correct email address or username. You can see which email address is connected to your Promote account by opening the invitation email you have received from Promote and check which receiver the email is addressed to.
If you have entered the correct email address and still can't log in, you can easily restore your access from the login page.
How to restore your access:
- Press the 'Can't sign in?' link on the Promote sign in page
- Enter your email address and press 'Send instructions'
- Within a few minutes, you will receive instructions to your email about how to restore your access
- Follow the link in the email you'll receive
- Set a new password and log in
- Done!
