A Program Summary Report is just what it sounds like - a summary of your chosen program. Reports might be useful to
- Check how the program is progressing over time
- Get an indicator of the engagement in the program entirely
- Check specific user and their current progress and engagement
- Compare engagement from one time to another (weekly reports)
Status of the program
Can be in progress or ended. It will be ended when the end date has been reached
Number of learners, coaches and facilitators in the program
Please note that a user can have multiple roles so the actual number of individuals in a program may be fewer than the sum of these numbers.
Program summary report graph
The Program summary report graph represents a timeline of the program and will display how the program is progressing over time. It will give you a good idea of if the program is on schedule or not at a specific time. To be able to display the progression over time graph for a program, both start date and end date are required to be set in Program settings.
Actual progress
The green "Actual progress" line displays all tasks completed in the program up until the date when the report was generated. Tasks that are in progress but not yet completed, are not included until actually completed.
Expected progress
The grey dashed line represents the expected progress in a program and can be used to benchmark if the program is "on schedule" or not. The line displays any due dates set for tasks in a program. It is assumed that if everything works out as planned, the learners will complete their tasks on time and the "Actual progress" line will then be on par with the "Expected progress" line. If a task does not have a due date set, it's still assumed that the task should be completed by the end of the program so any tasks without due dates will be included when calculating the expected line, but their due date will be assumed to be the same as the program end date. In short, this means that the expected progress line will always start at 0% and end up at 100% by the end of the program.
Toggle the graphs
By clicking the "Actual" and "Expected" titles you can hide or show the graphs if you for some reason only want to view one of them at a time.
Task status
Total number of tasks for all learners in the program categorized by status
Average progress
The average progress for all learners in the program
Posted messages
Messages are split up into two categories: Task messages, which include any completion comments in tasks. This means any messages that are mandatory for all learners to complete their tasks. The other category is Social messages which include any messages that are not really required to complete a task. The social messages can be used as an indication of engagement in the program.
Top learners
The 3 learners in the program that have completed most tasks at the time of the report. You can also view the expected progress under 'Top Learners', the grey dot in the progress bar indicates the expected progress.
