Step-by-Step Guide
Accessing Fetch:
- Log into your Promote account.
- Click on your name located in the top-right corner.
- From the dropdown menu, select 'Fetch'.
Creating a New Survey:
- Inside Fetch, navigate to the "Questionnaires" tab. Here, you'll see any existing questionnaires and have the option to create a new one.

Build the Survey
- Start off by giving your new Questionnaire a Title, add a Description and tick the 'Survey' box. Note: This title and description are only visible to administrators in Fetch and not to respondents.
You will probably have a number of similar Questionnaires. The description helps differentiate between similar questionnaires. It's especially useful when using a questionnaire as a template, so be clear in your description for the ease of other administrators.
The default language for Fetch is currently English.
- After entering these details, click 'Save'. Now, you'll see additional options like 'Preview', 'Save', 'Delete', and 'Main Information'. Most crucially, you can begin adding questions.
Add Questions
- Click on 'Add new question' to continue.
- You have now created your first (empty) main question. The title allows you to enter the main question or topic and you can also add a more helpful, or detailed description of the question.
- To add a Question part to this Main question, select your desired option from the menu and click '+ Add question part".
