Welcome to our guide on understanding the main titles of Fetch. By grasping the distinctions between these terms, you'll unlock a smoother and more intuitive experience with Fetch.
Respondent
A respondent is an individual who answers a Fetch Questionnaire within a Promote program. It's essential to note that in the context of Fetch, every respondent is also a learner.
Questionnaire
Think of a Questionnaire as a template consisting of various questions designed to gather information. One of the highlights of using a Questionnaire is its reusability; you can deploy the same Questionnaire multiple times. Within Fetch, there are two distinct types of Questionnaires you can use: Survey and Quiz.
Survey
A Survey is a tool for capturing feedback without the constraints of right or wrong answers. After a Survey is conducted, administrators can review the data as a report or export it to Excel for further analysis. A typical use case for Surveys is in the form of evaluations or feedback forms.
Quiz
Contrary to Surveys, a Quiz is structured with a scoring system, meaning answers can be categorized as right or wrong. Upon completing a Quiz, learners receive feedback about whether they've passed or not.
Collection
The term "Collection" in Fetch refers to the aggregation of responses from either a Survey or a Quiz. Every time you introduce a Survey or Quiz task into a Promote program, a corresponding Collection is created in Fetch, ready to store responses from that specific task.
It's vital to understand the relationship between a Collection and a Questionnaire: A Collection is always linked to one specific Questionnaire. However, a single Questionnaire can be the foundation for numerous Collections.
