Video tutorial - Create a Quiz
Step-by-Step Guide
Accessing Fetch:
- Log into your Promote account.
- Click on your name located in the top-right corner.
- From the dropdown menu, select 'Fetch'.
Creating a New Quiz:
- Inside Fetch, navigate to the "Questionnaires" tab. Here, you'll see any existing questionnaires and have the option to create a new one.
- Click on 'New questionnaire' to create a new Quiz
- If you rather re-use an existing questionnaire when building your quiz, see this article on how you can copy a questionnaire >
Build the Quiz
-
Start off by giving your new Questionnaire a Title, add a Description and tick the 'Quiz' box.
Note: This title and description are only visible to administrators in Fetch and not to respondents.
You will probably have a number of similar Questionnaires. The description helps differentiate between similar questionnaires. It's especially useful when using a questionnaire as a template, so be clear in your description for the ease of other administrators.
The default language for Fetch is currently English.
- After entering these details, click 'Save'. Now, you'll see additional options like 'Preview', 'Save', 'Delete', and 'Main Information'. Most crucially, you can begin adding questions.
Add Questions
- Click on 'Add new question' to continue.
- You have now created your first (empty) main question. The title allows you to enter the main question or topic and you can also add a more helpful, or detailed description of the question.
- To add a Question part to this Main question, select Single Choice from the menu and click '+ Add question part".
- You'll now have the ability to list down choices and designate the correct answer by ticking the bow beside the alternative, in the example below the correct answer is "Learning transfer Platform"
- To add multiple questions on one page, choose '+ Add question part'.
If you're satisfied with the current question, simply click 'Save'.
- To craft an entirely new set of questions on a separate page, select “Add new question” and repeat the process mentioned above.
Scoring
At the end of the Quiz, the respondents will see how they scored on the quiz.
