What's a Program Admin
A user can be assigned to manage a limited number of programs via the Program Admin permission. A program admin has the following permissions in the program he/she is assigned to:
- Manage Settings for that program
- Please note that the program admin can't add program admins or copy the program
- Manage Builder for that program
- Manage Timeline for that program
- Manage Members for that program
- Add users to a program by importing a CSV file or manually enter an email address. If the user doesn't exist it will be created. If the user already exist on the site, the program admin will see, and can edit, the information stored for the user
- Create new Resources as well as list and use any existing resources on the site.
- Manage Groups for that program
- Manage Goals for that program
- Generate and view Reports for that program
- Preview that program
How to add a Program Admin
To give Program Admin permissions you have to have "Manage users permission". To add a Program admin to a program, follow these steps:
- Go to "Admin"
- Search for the program
- Enter the program's Settings and enter the 'Administrators' tab
- Type in search field the user you want to give the Program admin permission. You will search in the entire database.
- Press "Add admin role"
- Done!
Remove a Program Admin
To remove any user's Program Admin permission - just click on "Remove admin role" in the list.
View in which programs a user is Program Admin
To view in which programs a user is program admin, search for the user in the 'Users' tab in the Global menu:
Click on the user to enter and in the list 'Program Administration' at the bottom of the page, you will see the programs where the user is Program Admin:
Copy a program with Program Admins
When you copy a program you have the option to include assigned program admins.
