What's a Program Admin
A Program Admin is a user assigned to manage one or more specific programs. They have full access to key areas within the assigned program(s) but do not have site-wide admin permissions. Program Admins are ideal for decentralised administration or when subject-matter experts are responsible for individual programs.
The Program Admin role includes two separate permissions:
Manage members:
- Manage Settings for that program
- Please note that Program Admins cannot assign other program admins or copy the program
- Manage Program members for that program
- Add users to a program by importing a CSV file or manually entering an email address. If the user doesn't exist, it will be created. If the user already exists on the site, the program admin will see and can edit the information stored for the user
- Manage Invitations/Templates for that program
- Manage Groups for that program
Program content:
- Manage Settings for that program
- Please note that Program Admins cannot assign other program admins or copy the program
- Manage the Builder for that program
- Manage the Dates for that program
- Manage Goals for that program
- Create new Resources as well as list and use any existing resources on the site.
- Manage AI assistants for that program
- Manage Integrations for that program
- Preview that program
How to add a Program Admin
Note: To assign a user as Program Admin, you need the “Manage users” + "Manage members in all programs" permission.

Go to Admin

Search for the program

Enter the program's Settings and scroll down to the Administrators section
- Click Manage Program Admins

Search for the user in the search field

Click Add admin
That’s it! The user is now a Program Admin for the selected program.
How to Remove a Program Admin
To remove a Program Admin, simply click the bin icon next to the user in the list.
View a User’s Program Admin Roles
To see which programs a user is assigned to as Program Admin:

Go to the Users tab in the global menu

Search for the user and click on the pencil icon to open their profile

Enter the Program Admins tab. Here, you'll see a list of all programs the user is assigned to as a Program admin
