Allow learners to invite their coach

In the program settings, you can enable an option allowing learners to invite their coach to a program.

Introduction

You as an admin can allow learners to invite their coach to a program. With this program option enabled an admin can still invite, remove or switch coaches for a learner, but if a learner does not have a coach assigned they will be allowed to send an invitation to a person of their own choice.

This option will allow additional flexibility in cases where you may not have information about all coaches at the time of the invitations for the program.

How a learner invites their coach

If a learner does not have a coach they can invite a person of their own choice from a 'coach approve' task or from the homepage of the program.

Add and invite a coach

1. Click on 'Invite coach' on;
   The Members page (only applies to Cohort programs)
   
    
   The Home page (only applies to Individual programs)
   
   
   or a 'coach approves' task (applies to all programs)
    
    
   
2. Enter the information about the coach's first and last name and email address, the learner can also include a note to the coach in the invitation.
   
   
3. Press invite
4. Done!
   

Resend invitation

Learners can resend an invitation to a coach if the coach hasn't visited the program or missed the first email for any reason.

1. Click on 'Review invitation'
2. Press the button 'Resend'

Remove invitation

A learner can remove a sent invitation and invite a different coach for cases where they realize someone else may be better suited as their coach.

1. Click on 'Review invitation'
2. Press the button 'Remove'

Please note that once the coach visits the program (and is no longer “Pending”) it will require an administrator to remove or change the coach.

How to enable the option 'Invite a coach'

1. Enter the 'Settings' of your program
   
   
2. In the tab 'General' you can enable this option
   
   
   
3. You can also edit the description that the learners will see when inviting a coach
    
   
4. Press 'Save'
