With the 'Team' completion type, you can boost the social learning in your program by dividing the learners into teams allowing them to collaborate, share ideas and/or give advice within the team’s private chat – based on the discussion they post their team conclusion and share it with the rest of the cohort.

Examples of how you can use Team tasks in your program
|
Report When your learners should work on an assignment together and report their conclusion - the Team task is the completion type to choose. The team can discuss in the private chat and when they are satisfied one of them post the team conclusion and all members will be marked as complete. Remember that they can upload files in both the private chat and in their conclusion. |
Peer Coaching When the learners should apply the tools or methods they have learnt, it is valuable to share experiences and get input/feedback from others on the same journey. A team can be of two learners and in this way, you could have structured peer coaching. In the team task, you can ask them to share successes or challenges and give each other advice. |

Preparations Let the learners prepare for the training/webinar/workshop together, for example, a group presentation for delivery at the training. The teams could work on the presentation in the team discussion and post the subject of their presentation to the rest of the cohort before the training. |
Research Make the learners build their knowledge foundation together by giving them a topic to make research about. Ask them to post the result of the research in the team conclusion. You can give different topics to the teams by setting team names and then clarifying which team should work on which topic. |
Be creative by using Team Names
You can set names on your teams in each team task, this feature allows you to be creative when designing your assignments. For example, if you want your teams to work on different topics in the same assignment, you can do so by a) setting team names; b) clarifying which topic each team should work on in the assignment; c) providing material for each team, for example, different scenarios, videos, presentations etc.

Bring Promote into the classroom
Even if you run the workshops in your programs virtually or face-2-face the team tasks is a great way to allow your learners to collaborate. Add a team task to your session beforehand and even let Promote create the teams randomly. During the workshop the teams report their findings on the platform, gathering all their knowledge and conclusions in one place.
