Introduction to program completion
Program completion gives admins a clear overview of when learners have completed a program. By default, a learner is marked as completed when all tasks in the program are finished. This makes it easier to measure results across programs and report on learning outcomes.
Currently, program completions are only visible to admins. Learners, facilitators, and coaches do not see this status in the program view.
Where to track program completions
As an admin, you can view program completion in several places:
Reports
Completion status appears in the Program report
Learners' completion status appears alongside the standard progress bar in the Learners Summary view.-
Programs tab – each program shows the number of learners who have completed it.
Members tab – track which specific learners have reached completion.
Completion criteria
By default, completion requires 100% of tasks to be finished.
However, admins can lower the threshold if not all tasks are required for a program to count as complete.
You can also decide that certain tasks are mandatory, meaning learners must finish those specific tasks before the program can be counted as complete. This rule can stand on its own or be combined with the threshold, for example, 80% program progression AND Task A must be completed.
To adjust completion criteria:
Go to your program’s Settings.
Click Manage completion criteria.
Under Threshold, set the percentage of tasks that must be completed for learners to finish the program.
Under Mandatory tasks, select which tasks are mandatory or optional for program completion
Save your changes.
Note:
If you lower the threshold in an ongoing program, learners who already meet the new criteria will immediately be marked as completed. A confirmation message will appear before changes are applied to prevent unintentional completions.
Once a learner is marked as completed, this status cannot be undone.
Adding new tasks after a learner has completed the program will not change their completion status.
