Padlet is a collaboration tool where you can create online bulletin boards that everyone can contribute to by uploading images, links, videos, etc. Use Padlet in your Promote program to let your learners collaborate in collecting ideas, brainstorm and share insights.
Padlet is free - you just have to create an account. Check their webpage here -> It is very easy to create a new board and this is how you add it in your Promote program:
- When you have created your board, open it in Padlet
- Then copy the Padlet URL (don't use the embed or share function in Padlet)
- Go to the assignment in Promote
- Click on the video icon in the editor and enter the URL, learn more here >
- Press save

Examples of how to use Padlet in Promote
As Edward says in the video you can use Padlet to allow the learners to record their own videos and upload them straight up to Promote. Video recordings could be used for assignments such as self presentations - where the learner introduce him/herself, or after they have tried a new learning or tool and come back to Promote they can share their insights in short video rather than in a written report.
See below example from Promote on what it could look like (and feel free to copy and use in your programs).
