This article explains how to set dates for tasks and events in programs that use individual start and end dates. Instead of using fixed calendar dates, you will define deadlines and availability as days from start. This ensures that every learner follows the same pacing, regardless of when they begin the program.

Introduction to individual program dates
In programs with individual start and end dates, learners start at different times but follow the same structure. Instead of setting fixed dates, all due dates, event dates, and content availability are based on days from start.
For example:
- A task set to be due 7 days from start will be due one week after each learner begins.
- An event set to take place 14 days from start will show a date two weeks after each learner’s start date.
This way, learners get the same number of days to complete each task, but the exact calendar dates depend on their personal start date.
How to set days from start for tasks
Open the program in the admin view.
Go to the Dates tab.
Locate the task you want to update
Enter the number of days (e.g., 5 = the task will be due 5 days after the learner starts).
💡 Tip: To set the same number of days for all tasks within an assignment, tick the box saying Select due dates for all tasks and just add a number to the first field to apply the change in bulk.
How to set days from start for events
Open the program in the admin view.
Go to the Dates tab.
