Introduction to content availability
In the Dates tab of the admin view, you can make different types of content unavailable to learners. When content is unavailable, it is hidden until the availability conditions you set are met.
You can decide to:
- Make content available on a specific date (automated release)
- Manually make content available later when you are ready
This is useful if you don’t want learners to work ahead of time, or if the content is not yet finalised by the program admin.
How to make content unavailable
Open the program in the admin view.
Go to the Dates tab.
-
Locate the item you want to hide:
For blocks or events: click the bar
For assignments or sessions: click the bar
The item will now appear as unavailable.
How to choose when content becomes available again
After making an item unavailable, select how it should become available again:
- Manually → you will need to make it available again yourself.
- By date → the system will release it automatically.
✅ Unavailable content is clearly marked in the program view, making it easy for program members to see which items are hidden and when they will become available.
