Introduction to the Voice Bot
A Voice bot enables speech-based interaction in a conversational format, accessible within your Promote program. It allows participants to ask questions and respond using their voice instead of typing, creating a faster, more natural way to engage with content.
You can tailor your Voice bot to align with your program and training materials, making it a valuable addition that enhances the learning experience through more intuitive interaction.
Create your bot
- Go to “Voice bots” in the left-side menu in Remora.
- Click “Access Voice bots”.
- Select your organization.
- Click “+ Create” at the bottom of the page.
Set up your bot
You will now define several key fields. Each one plays an important role in shaping the conversation experience:
-
Bot Name
Choose a short and simple name (e.g., Maria, Anne, James).
This helps make conversations feel more natural and avoids confusion.
-
Voice
Select whether the bot’s voice should be male or female.
-
Bot Role
Clearly define who the bot represents (e.g., client, customer, manager).
The bot should focus only on its own role, not the participant’s.
-
Participant (human role)
What role is the participant (the human) playing?
(E.g., salesperson, team member, manager)
-
Native language
Choose the native language of the bot.
-
Location of the Roleplay
Specify where the interaction takes place. Keep it simple and preciser,, for example:- Office
- Phone call
- Online meeting
- In-person meeting
-
Scenario Description
Describe the situation from the bot’s perspective.
Keep it brief and focused, avoid overloading with details.
Tip: Train one skill at a time, such as:
- Active listening
- Handling price objections
-
Completion Criteria
Define what success looks like for the roleplay.
Keep it short and measurable. For example:
- The client agrees to a new meeting
- The client is ready to purchase
- The client is ready for the next step
-
Starting Mood
Use a neutral tone whenever possible.
Strong emotions can lock the bot into a single communication style.
-
Feedback Criteria
Add one clear sentence describing what feedback should focus on.
Example:
“Feedback should focus on how the participant handled price objections.”
-
Short description
Write a short description of the bot. This text will only be visible to you
-
After Saving
Once your bot is saved, AI optimization is applied automatically.
If needed, you can review or adjust the optimization using the Edit Bot option.
