In the first Tips & Tricks of 2021, we would like to share some good practice on how to work with templates in Promote.
Make life easier with Templates
Use templates to save time and make your processes more efficient. For example, let's say you will run eight cohorts of the same program during 2021. Then you can use the same template every time a new cohort will start their learning journey.
You can also have a general template that all admins use when creating a new program. In this way, each admin doesn't have to make up their own introduction assignment, find images and you’ll also get a consistent structure if you agree on setting up assignments in the same way as the examples in the template. This will result in much more uniformity that will help your learners to quickly understand what your assignments are about.

Add an introduction assignment in your templates to help your learners to quickly get started. In the assignment you can have an introduction to the program, the main purpose of the training and instructions how Promote works. See an example here ›

Finally, decide who’s accountable for the template. This person update the content of the template by following up on how the live programs are getting on, can the assignment instructions be clearer, is it some tasks that the learners doesn’t complete or answers too briefly? Improve the template and evaluate the engagement of the next cohort.
