Promote now supports individual start and end dates in programs! We would like to share some examples of programs when it is perfect to use this new timeline type.

What's Individual start/end date?
The timeline type 'Individual start dates' supports individual start and end dates for learners attending the same learning journey, meaning they don't have to start the program at the same time. However, since the program structure is still identical for all members, the learners can still share knowledge and even compare progress with each other. Here are a couple of examples when it's perfect to use the Individual timeline:
- Onboarding program
Onboard new employees in the same program regardless of when they start their new job. Each learner will have due dates based on their individual start date and can compare their progress to other learners, while building their new internal network and get inspiration from their new colleagues.
- Large-scaled & self-paced training
A self-paced training where you bring a large amount of learners up-to-speed on a subject or policy, for example: compliance, GDPR, health and safety training. These programs might not have a facilitator-lead training event, and learners can join whenever they sign up for the program or are required to attend.
