Information about the New Interface Launch!

After a few months of beta-access, lots of feedback and adjustments it’s finally time to end the beta phase for the new Promote interface. We want to take this chance to thank everyone for their input so far, your feedback has been invaluable and it’s great to see how invested you are in helping us design a better experience for our users.

This will happen next week

In the next release scheduled for March 11, we will officially end beta and the new interface will be the new default option. You will still be able to keep using the old interface for ongoing programs or even for new ones.
If you haven’t looked at the new interface before, aside from the updated look and feel, there are also quite a few new features available, such as:

• Call to Action for learners to make sure they never miss anything important
• Coach Feed so coaches can see everything their learners post in a single place
• Feed view for Facilitators to allow more space when working in the feed
• Notification center to display all notifications from all programs in a single view
• All views available on mobile

Improvements in next week's release:

Rich text support for comments You will now be able to use formatted text in any message in a Promote program. You can use bold or italic text, titles, links and bullet- or numbered lists. You can also attach files and images by drag and drop instead of using a file picker.  Learn more here ›	New login page The login page will get a makeover. The new design will allow you to use a background image that is not partially covered by login options in the middle of the page as of today. With the add-on product Branding can make changes to your site’s branding whenever you want (see below).

Company SSO If you are using company SSO for signing in to Promote the new login page will make the flow easier for users. With company SSO enabled there will no longer be a visible option for users to use a password to sign in which will guide them to always use SSO. More information can be found here ›	Manage brandings If you use a branded site today you will have the option to give an admin permission to manage your branding. This means you can adjust the branding of your own site and update it as often as you please. Maybe you want a different background for each season? No problem anymore! Learn more here ›

What's next?

We have been working with the new interface for a long time. You can see the difference in how it looks but the changes behind the scenes are even greater than that. Even though we are now ending the beta phase we will continue to improve the new interface. We will make adjustments to existing features and we are planning on adding many more going forward.
Soon we will also turn our attention to the admin interface and improve that the same way so we’re not stopping now, this is just the beginning!
