In the E-learnings tab, you find all uploaded E-learnings on your Promote site. If you would like to use E-learnings in your program you will need to add them here first. To add an e-learning you need to have it in a SCORM-supported zip package.
The E-learnings Tab
You can sort your E-learnings by column title by clicking on each title. You can search for a specific E-learning by using the search field. You can also add a new one by clicking “New E-learning”.
Create a new E-learning
- Click on the tab E-learnings
- Click on the button 'New E-learning'
- Upload your prepared e-learning zip-package
- Set a title
- Press 'Upload'
- Now you can head over to your program and add your E-learning there, you can choose to add it in two different ways:
- Add the E-learning as a task - learn how to add a task with the completion type E-learning here>
- Add the E-learning as a resource - learn how to add an E-learning as a resource here>
Edit an existing E-learning
If you have a new version of an E-learning you can update the content by uploading the new zip-file.
- In the list, click the E-learning you want to update
- Select a new SCORM zip-file to upload
- Click Save changes
Please note that this process will overwrite the existing version of the E-learning but any learners who already completed the previous version will keep their completions. This means uploading a new version is recommended when the changes to the content are small, correcting spelling errors or layout etc.
If the new version of an E-learning is significantly different from the previous it’s recommended to instead create a new E-learning in Promote, so you can keep track of which version each learner actually completed.
