On Thursday May 14th the platform will be undergoing maintenance in order to release a new version of Promote.
Highlights in this release:
- New! Virtual sessions
- Performance improvements
Performance improvements
Last week we had some performance issues and we are sorry for any problems this may have caused! Even though the main issues have now been addressed, we keep monitoring program performance and have more optimizations planned to remove any remaining bottle necks.
New! Virtual sessions
You can now choose if an event session should be listed as a virtual session or a regular session. A virtual session will have information about how to connect to a video conference instead of address and location.
As an admin you will be able to use your video conference tool of choice when setting up your virtual session, and then list the information so that learners can easily connect to the session in the program. Learn more about virtual sessions here ›
Downtime
At some point during the day of the release your server will be restarted which means Promote will be offline for a few minutes. If you are using Promote at this time – wait a little while, reload the page and then you can continue to work in Promote as before.e ›
Promote Support
The Promote Support phone will from May 25th be closed. Since we have noticed that our customers seem to prefer e-mails over phone when contacting us at support, we have decided to put all of our resources on the support email. Those who still prefer to take it on the phone are of course welcome to contact the support email and request a call.
