On Monday June 18th the platform will be undergoing maintenance in order to release a new version of Promote.
Highlights in this release
- New feature: Groups
- New feature: Program goals
- Improved learner status tool for coaches and facilitators
- Multiple interface improvements
New feature: Groups
As the first step of introducing increased group features in Next Gen programs you can now create groups in programs. The progression of each group is displayed in the program and more group related features are planned to be added in the future so stay tuned.
New feature: Program goals
You can now create program goals and connect tasks to them. This feature will make it possible to better visualize the purpose and actual value of each task in a program.
Improved learner status tool for coaches and facilitators
It is now easier for coaches and facilitators to keep track of the progress of each learner in a program. The new overview will give you information about the status of every task for learners at a glance.
Our new interface is still evolving and you will see a lot of changes both in this and future versions of Promote. Other than the new additions already described, this time we have also made multiple changes to the learners start page, the coach and facilitator tasks as well as introducing a new main menu and adding a new way of identifying anyone missing a profile image.
For program administrators there are new features to create groups and goals in programs. We have also made several minor fixes to the assignment editor so hopefully your programs will look better than ever before! For example, it is now possible to add multiple levels in numbered and bullet lists.
At some point during the day your server will be restarted which means Promote will be offline for a few minutes. If you are using Promote at this time – wait a little while, reload the page and then you can continue to work in Promote as before.
