What is an Event?
In Promote, an "Event" typically represents a training session led by a facilitator, though it's equally applicable for scheduling webinars. Essentially, if you require a set time where everyone gathers simultaneously at a specific location (virtual or physical), you should add it as an "Event" to your program.
Position of 'Event' within the Program Structure
Promote's program structure is organized into three distinct levels:
- Level 1 - Module (Block, Event and Milestone)
- Level 2 - Assignment, Session
- Level 3 - Task
Blocks, Events and Milestones are the foundation for the program. An Event doesn't contain any other information itself more than a title. This means that the primary purpose of an Event is to group sessions and assignments to provide your program with a clear program structure.
An Event can hold Sessions and Assignments. All the necessary details of your Event (like the schedule, venue, or meeting links) should be detailed within the Sessions. Read more about sessions here ->
