Overview: What’s New?
The new admin interface brings together powerful updates to program building and content management. Whether you're starting from scratch or working from existing templates, the new interface helps you work faster and more efficiently.
This is more than just a visual refresh – it lays the foundation for continuous improvements, smarter workflows, and new tools that weren’t possible in the old interface..

New Builder
Program Overview
The program overview in the new builder provides a clear, visual representation of your program’s structure. The purpose of this view is to display and filter the information that is useful when designing or managing a program, such as blocks, events, milestones, assignments, sessions, tasks, due dates, locks and goals.
Use the overview to:
- Get a full view of your program’s structure
- Add or duplicate modules (Blocks, Events and Milestones)
- Import modules from your other programs to reuse
- Add sessions and assignments, either new ones or reuse existing ones from your other programs
- Edit titles
- Delete modules, assignments or sessions
- Select what information to display
- Quickly adjust the program structure via drag-and-drop
Content Editor
Once your structure is in place, the content editor lets you build out the details. You can create content from scratch or import it from existing programs. The new layout ensures you have everything you need to design engaging assignments and sessions without needing to switch views.
Use the content editor to:
- Add content to your assignments and sessions
- Edit the content that you imported from other programs
- Add and manage tasks
- Add and manage locks
- Set goals
- Add due dates as you create your tasks
Reusable Content
The new builder is designed to help you make the most of your previous work. You can search your existing library for blocks, sessions, events, or assignments and quickly import them into any program.
Building a library of reusable content will help you save even more time as you create new programs in the future.
We believe that the new layout and workflows in the overview and content editor will allow you to design and create better programs faster, while at the same time, building up a library full of reusable content that will save you even more time in the future.

Invitation Scheduling
You can now schedule invitations directly within the new admin interface, making it easier to manage program communication in advance.
Whether you're launching a new program or onboarding new participants, this feature helps you:
- Select a custom or default invitation template
- Choose when invitations should be sent
- Target specific participant roles (e.g., learners, facilitators)
- Send to selected individuals if needed
With this tool, you can plan ahead, reduce manual follow-ups, and ensure the right people get the right message at the right time.

Transition Plan & Switching Between Interfaces
The new admin interface is now available to all Promote admins. While it will eventually replace the old interface, both versions will remain accessible for a transitional period to give you time to explore, adjust, and ease into the new workflows.
Key points about the rollout:
- June 12 – The new interface becomes available to all admins
- June 26 – The new interface will become the default for all admins
- Old interface remains available for at least 3–4 more months – You can move between interfaces freely during this time.
How to switch between interfaces:

From the old interface:
Use the “New Admin” option in the menu (top right). -
From the new interface:
Click your profile menu (bottom left) and select “Admin.”

Compatibility Between Interfaces
The new admin interface is fully compatible with programs created in the previous builder. This means that you can edit your existing programs in the new builder without needing to convert anything, and any programs created in the new builder can still be edited in the old one.
You can test out the new builder confidently, knowing that all your content will remain intact and fully accessible across both versions.
