Introduction to the Quiz Bot

A Quiz bot acts as an interactive quiz master, allowing participants to take quizzes within your Promote program. These bots are programmed to present questions, evaluate responses, and provide immediate feedback. This makes them particularly effective for reinforcing learning and assessing participants' understanding of the course material. You can easily customize the Quiz bot to cover the specific topics taught in your learning programs, ensuring that the quizzes are relevant and aligned with your educational objectives.

How the Quiz Bot Works

Quiz bots on Remora use AI technology to create dynamic and interactive quizzes that participants can access through a dedicated AI tab. The bots present questions, process answers, and give instant feedback based on the participants' responses. How to Create an Quiz Bot Step-by-Step Guide:

A tip before starting: When creating your Quiz bot, be sure to enter only the specific details requested at each step. Remora's prompt framework is designed to handle the rest. Adding extra information beyond what is asked can lead to conflicting prompts, potentially hindering your bot's performance. Now, with that in mind, let’s start creating the Quiz bot!
 

Create the Bot in Remora

1. Select Bot Type:
   • Navigate to the bot creation page in Remora.
   • Click the "Create" button under the "Quiz bot" option.
     
     
2. Name Your Bot:
   • Enter a name for your bot
     Note: Choose a personal name for your bot, such as Kevin, to help it present itself more personally in chats. Avoid generic titles like "Feedback Quiz Bot".
   • Click the "Next" button to proceed.
     
     
3. Enter the topics for the quiz
   • Specify the topic or subject area the bot will cover.
     
     
4. Upload Resources:
   • Decide if the bot needs resources to function effectively by toggling the resource option.
   • If resource toggle is on, upload up to 10 files that the bot will use to answer queries.
   • Click "Next" after all files are uploaded.
     
     
5. Customize the Bot’s Personality:
   • Select the bot’s native language, quiz difficulty and personality.
   • Click "Create [name of your bot]" to finalize the bot

6. Generate and Select Questions:

   • After finalizing the bot’s personality, a set of questions will be generated based on the specified topic.

   • Review the generated questions and select the ones you wish to include in the quiz.
   • Click "Generate bot" once you have made your selections.
     
     
7. Confirmation:
   • A confirmation message displays the bot’s creation with an ID you will use to integrate the bot on Promote.

Add the Bot to Promote

7. Integrate with Promote:
   • Log into Promote and go to the admin view.
   • Navigate to the AI Assistants tab in the Global menu and click "Add new assistant."
   • Enter this information:
     a) the bot's name
     b) external ID from Remora
     c) specify access roles (learner, coach, facilitator)
     d) Integration
     e) add a description
     f) an image for the bot
     g) You can also add quick prompt messages to help the program members get the conversation started with the AI assistant.
     
   • Click "Add new assistant."
     
     
8. Add Bot to a Program:
   • Select a program in Promote.
   • Go to the program’s Settings and the AI assistants tab.
   • Select your bot from the dropdown menu and click "Add new assistant."

Now, your Quiz bot is ready to interact with participants, providing an interactive and beneficial assessment experience.

Manage Your Bots

Edit Bots

Make updates to your bots at any time, such as altering their profiles or adding additional resources. Simply navigate to the “My Bots” page on Remora, and select the "Edit" option next to the bot you wish to modify. Changes are applied immediately across all Promote programs where the bot is active.
 

Duplicate Bots

To create a copy of an existing bot for a new project, simply go to the 'My Bots' page in Remora, and click 'Duplicate' next to the bot you want to replicate. The new bot will be automatically named after the original, with a sequential number appended to it.
 

Delete Bots

To remove a bot, go to the specific bot’s page, scroll down, and select "Delete Bot." This will permanently remove the bot from your account.
